On Wednesdays at 9pm Central time we will be hosting a event with the purpose of getting people together to meet, RP or just hang out for a bit before going on with their tasks. This will take place in the Nar Shadda lower promenade cantina (Slipper Slope) and the goal is to give us a reason to meet more outside of major events and quest runs. Lower leveled players can easily miss out on these so we want to make sure to include everyone on something Smile

We are having it on Nar Shadda due to the cross faction cantina and as you know we have an Imperial guild.

Greetings all! I've put together a little RP event. This is a structure story, with goals, objectives and puzzles to figure out. It's great for veteran RP-ers, but also good for those new to RP, or those who are just RP-curious.

I'm looking for 4 players, with characters in the 24-28 range or so. No experience is required, and this will be an all-guild event, so there's plenty of friendly people around.

Right now, this is only open to Republic characters, but there's an Empire one on the drawing board.

We're tentatively scheduling this for Saturday night at around 8:00 PM. I know it's short notice, so we may reschedule if we can't get people to make it.

There are no restrictions, so don't worry about healers, tanks etc.

If there is enough response, I may run this particular adventure more than once, but for now this is one run only.

I've been kicking around an idea about setting up some more structured role-play events, with antagonists, story and goals, etc.

In my head it would involved some cross-faction coordination. Abode will need some Jawa Punters to be bad guys from time to time, and Jawa Punters will need some republic folks to kick around from time to time as well. It would take volunteers who don't mind letting the other faction kick them around.

I've never done more than think about this sort of thing before, but I'd be willing to give it a shot if there's demand.

This would, of course, be an optional periodic activity for those who enjoy more structured RP. I'm imagining sign ups for specific chapters, maybe repeating certain chapters if there is enough demand.
